Monviel / Ressources Geomega (REE)
The Montviel Property of Geomega Resources inc. located near the town of Lebel-sur-Quevillon in Abitibi, Northwestern Québec and easily accessible using logging and forestry secondary roads. The Property is located approximately 100 km north of the Town of Lebel-sur-Quévillon and 45 km west of the First Nation Village of Waswanipi. The deposit is hosted within an alkaline intrusive which measures approximately 10 by 3 km (32 km2). The rich “Noyau Zone” or Core Zone covers a surface area of 3 km2 and mainly consists of ferro-carbonatite with higher grades of REE and Niobium. Up to now definition drilling has permitted to follow the mineralization over a NE-SW oriented distance of 900 meters, 640 meters NW-SE oriented width and 750 meters deep.
The mineral total resources including the “Dysprosium Zone” using a cut-off grade of 1.0% TREO (or economical cut-off of 180 CAD) are as follow :
► Indicated Category: 82.4 Mtonnes at 1.51% TREO.
► Inferred Category: 184.2 Mtonnes at 1.43% TREO.
